Favourite driver?

“Sebastian Vettel is my favourite driver because he’s an OG, and my least favourite driver is George Russell because he is overrated and dead average,” said Van der Westhuyzen.

Did the season play out as you had expected it to?

“Kind of. I’ve had this idea that Mercedes would have a downfall, losing momentum and was not surprised to see some teams moving up, such as Ferrari.”

What are your predictions for the last stretch?

“Ferrari and Redbull will be neck and neck, fighting for championship.”

If Prof Wim de Villiers were a driver, which team would he race for?

“AlphaTauri.”
