Megan Townsend
First-year BA (Language and Culture) student.
Townsend said that her mask does not bother her, as she feels very comfortable wearing it. “More often than not, I wear my mask, but since it’s not compulsory, I don’t always wear it,” she said.
If the mandate is lifted, Townsend said she will probably continue to wear her mask if that is what the people around her prefer.
Matt Adams
Third-year BA (Humanities) student
Adams explained that masks are not needed and that he only wears his mask when it is required, like when he goes to the library. “If the mandate is lifted, I will probably never wear my mask again, or burn it,” he said.
Matt Mortem
Third-year BSc (Human Life Sciences) student
Mortem feels that if a person is sick, they should wear their mask to protect those around them, but if not, it is not really needed. He said, “When I don’t feel sick, I only wear my mask when the security guard is scary enough or when it is expected of me.”
