The Stellenbosch University (SU) Campus Health Services has access to all government ordered vaccines and can provide students with the controversial shot in the arm, for a fee. Campus Health offers a host of vaccinations, amongst them the meningitis vaccination, the hepatitis A and B injection, the Measles, Mumps and Rubella vaccine and the influenza (flu) vaccine. Prices are available on request.

Lesley-Ann Moolow, a nurse at Campus Health, gave some insight into vaccinations, stating that even if you are an adult you are still able to get vaccinated and it is important that adults are vaccinated “for protection and also because it is possible to outgrow some vaccines.”
